Summer 2026 Tabasaurus® Internship

Summer 2026 Tabasaurus® Internship

Spend the Summer with Tabasaurus® learning valuable skills, and making fun memories!

Before you read: This is an unpaid internship.

Tabasaurus® is a steadily growing brand in Portland Oregon. It is the passion project of artist and entrepreneur, Tabitha Knight. (ME!) 💖

Running a business is a lot of work! But it can be very rewarding. I have been building this business for over a decade, and I'm still learning new things all the time. This is my second internship, and I think it's safe to say that I learned just as much as she did through the experience.

A little about the mission:

Tabasaurus® is more than a mascot, she is a part of me; like Walt Disney & Mickey Mouse. (Only less patriarchal). From 2009~2018 Tabasaurus® was a stage name for my performance art. I did not feel confident as Tabitha when I was younger, so Tabasaurus® was my mask. I modeled, acted and sang as "Tabasauras." In 2018, I decided I wanted to take a break from performance and focus more on my visual art instead. That's when I began forming Tabasaurus® as a brand, and making my website.

I'm a big supporter of women and people of color. It's important to me that anyone involved with Tabasaurus® holds the same values. My interest is in helping others find their strength through embracing their inner child. That inner child being guarded and nurtured by each person's very own Tabasaur™.

What I do:

Over the last 2 years, I've pulled a lot of my personal artwork off of my socials and websites due to AI scraping. I've focused a lot on vintage reselling and curating my shops with treasures I source from all over. Recently I've managed to figure out how to navigate copywriting my works, and I'm excited to dive back in to my print on demand stuff. In order to do that though, I need some extra help.

What You do:

As a Tabasaurus® intern, your primary task would be to help me tag inventory, assist with events, and make social media content. It's up to you how much more you'd like to learn!

What you can learn:

Aside from the everyday tasks I need help with, there is a long list of things I do to run this business I'm eager to teach. I can show you how to form your LLC, create your domain name, get your business licence, insurance, copyrights and Trademark.

The main tools I use are Adobe Express, Shopify, WIX, Phomemo, Ricochet, Excel, Google Office, Labellife, Assembly, Capcut, and Ebay. I would prioritize teaching you labeling and tagging first, then inventory management.

Next I would train you for working events! I've been in sales for over 15 years and can teach you beyond the limits of common sense customer service. We can talk more about that.

Finally I would teach you how to use graphic design programs, like Adobe Express, to create social media content for the pages. I can teach you about fonts, color theory, print resolution and more. My last intern had an interest in modeling, so we were able to feature some of her pictures on our website, and branding to further her career. I'm so proud of how far she's come! I hope to help others in the same way. :)

So What's the deal then?

This internship is 3 months long, with potential to become an "enternship." An "enternship" is like an internship with a pathway into the company. We'll talk about that when we get there.

I'm looking for 1-2 people right now, preferably able to drive (but not required), and able to lift at least 30lbs.

We'll meet up once a week, and I'll send you home with product to tag. We'll also tag things together, and if you want to come with me to source product, we can do that too! For events I'll give you at least 2 weeks notice so you can be available. I'll need your help setting up, interacting with customers, taking orders and breaking down at the end of the event. I'll also need your help restocking my booths, which I typically try to do once a month. Memory Den has vendor nights that I'd love your help with, and The Market Downstairs allows us to come in any time during business hours.

What's Next??

If you're interested in this, the next step is to APPLY HERE!!

I'll let you know when your form comes through, and make my decision toward the end of May. But if you have any questions in the meantime, or haven't heard from me after you've submitted your form, please reach out to me at; hellotabasaurus@gmail.com

Until then, you stay cute QT! ~🦖💖
